Paul Bettany Says WandaVision Series is ‘Bonkers’

Paul Bettany says audiences will be in for a wild ride when the upcoming MCU WandaVision series hits Disney+. Bettany, who is reprising his role as Vision in the series, spoke with Kevin Smith for an IMDB interview about the series.

“Yes, I’m back for WandaVision,” Bettany told Smith. “…I am such an admirer of Kevin Feige. He has taken such a risk with this show and the concept of the show. It’s been beautifully written by Jac Schaeffer and her staff of writers. And it is f**king bonkers. I mean, it’s — it’s so out there and nuts, what they — the choices they are making. Fans will not have to wait that much longer. Well they’ve moved it up a little bit, but also they’ll get much more of an insight [checks watch] very, very soon as to what it might look and feel like. And I’m proud of it and having so much fun making it.”

WandaVision stars Bettany as Vision, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Randall Park as Agent Jimmy Woo, Kat Dennings as Darcy Lewis, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Katharyn Hahn as a “nosy neighbor.” It will premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2020.
