Pic Reveals Zac Efron Bulked Up On Set Of Von Erichs Movie The Iron Claw
Zac Efron is playing Kevin Von Erich in The Iron Claw, and a new set pic shows the actor bulked up for the role. Efron is starring in the A24 film alongside Harris Dickinson, Holt McCallany, Jeremy Allen White, Maura Tierney, Lily James and Chavo Guerrero, and the set pic shows the actor with quite the body transformation for the role.
It’s not clear, but it looks as if Efron is wearing some sort of prosthesis as another recent pic of the actor training shows him looking a lot more cut. You can see the comparison pics below.
Efron recently opened up about how getting in shape for the 2017 Baywatch film took a toll on him. He noted that he overtrained for the role with intense workouts for months, used diuretics and ate nothing but “organic protein and leafy greens.” He said, “I started to develop insomnia, and I fell into a pretty bad depression, for a long time. Something about that experience burned me out. I had a really hard time recentering.”
The film is written and directed by Sean Durkin and will follow the famous wrestling family. No release date has yet been announced for the movie.
