Prince Akeem & Semmi Are Back in Teaser Trailer for Coming 2 America

Amazon Studios released the teaser trailer for the upcoming, long-awaited sequel for Coming to America, aptly titled Coming 2 America. You can check out the new trailer below.

Coming 2 America features Eddie Murphy, Arsenio Hall, and James Earl Jones reprising their roles from the original. It also stars Jermaine Fowler, Leslie Jones, Tracy Morgan, KiKi Layne, Shari Headley, Wesley Snipes, John Amos, Teyana Taylor, Vanessa Bell Calloway, Paul Bates, Nomzamo Mbatha, and Bella Murphy. The film will be released globally on Amazon Prime Video on March 5, 2021.

“Set after the events of the first film, former Prince Akeem Joffer (Murphy) is set to become King of Zamunda when he discovers he has a son he never knew about in America – a street savvy Queens native named Lavelle (Fowler).
