A new report from Fightful Select sheds light on the AEW status of Max Caster amid his ongoing absence from weekly television, MJF’s status amid recent injury, and more.
Though Caster is active on the independent circuit, he has not been seen on AEW programming since last winter. Fightful Select notes that despite his absence, Caster continues to remain under contract, and his ongoing hiatus is due to the creative team not using him.
Caster last competed on AEW TV during the Holiday Bash edition of Dynamite on December 17, 2025. He competed in the 2025 Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royale.
The report also notes that All Elite Wrestling will be adding nationally televised talent to its roster this summer.
Additionally, Fightful is reporting that World Champion MJF, who hyperextended his knee during his title defense against RUSH this past Wednesday, will remain on television in some capacity despite the injury.
