Backstage Update on Creative Plans for Seth Rollins, Why He’s Being Kept Off WWE TV

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins has been off WWE programming since losing to Roman Reigns last month at SummerSlam 2026. A new report from WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select has more details on creative plans for Rollins and his recent whereabouts.

According to the report, Rollins is being kept off WWE TV at the moment as creative is waiting for “the right moment to bring him back.” It’s said there are plans in place for his return “lined up and ready to go.”

Additionally, one source claims that Rollins at one point was going to be a part of WWE Money in the Bank 2026. However, those plans have reportedly since shifted. Another source informed WrestleVotes that Rollins’ WWE TV return shouldn’t be too far off.

WWE has not yet announced when Rollins will be returning to the ring. Although Seth Rollins hasn’t appeared on WWE TV since SummerSlam, he did work the South America Live Tour earlier this month.
