The upcoming Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City reboot of the film franchise is undergoing some reshoots, according to its star. Robbie Amell revealed on his Twitch stream (per ComicBook.com) that the film is back in Toronto undergoing the reshoot process. Principle production was completed back in December.

“I’m actually back in Toronto for Resident Evil reshoots,” Amell said on the stream, video of which you can see HERE. “So I’m back in Chris Redfield mode.”

The film stars Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Amell as Chris Redfield, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, Neal McDonough as William Birkin, and Donal Logue as Chief Irons. The film is an “origin story adaptation” of the games, set in 1998 in Racoon City.

Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City will release in theaters on November 24th and will “will tell the events of the city under siege from infected zombies.”
