The Rock Praises His Skycraper Director

The Rock is currently on his promotional tour for his upcoming film, Skyscraper. During the tour, he had some high praise for his director of the film, Rawson Marshall Thurber, which he talked about on his Instagram account below. The Rock stated on Thurber:

We make quite the team, even though I refuse to listen to a word he says. Great @latimes piece on myself and my SKYSCRAPER writer/director @rawsonthurber – even though he’s looking at me like he wants to kill me or kiss me. Probably both. We enjoyed our hang time with writer Josh Rottenberg, chopping up the state of the business of Hollywood, lessons I’ve learned from past mistakes and how Hollywood may ebb and flow, but it’s always moving onward and upward.
Rawson and I found some success when we made CENTRAL INTELLIGENCE together. And after SKYSCRAPER, we’ll make RED NOTICE – an original idea set in the high price world of globe trotting art thieves with myself and @gal_gadot. His new movie, Skyscraper, opens in theaters on July 13.
