Sam & Bucky Discuss The MCU Villain Trifecta in Falcon and the Winter Soldier Clip

A clip from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier has Sam and Bucky talking about their “Big Three” of villain types…and reveals that Bucky is (or was) a Tolkien fan. You can see the clip below from the Disney+ series which features the titular stars discussing how all of their villains end up being androids, aliens, and wizards. Bucky even references the fact that he read The Hobbit, but when it was first released in 1937, before The Lord of the Rings became a blockbuster franchise.

The series launches next Friday on Disney+ and stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan as the titular characters, aka Sam Wilson and Bucky Barnes, as they clash in the process of working together to take down bad guys. Their mission puts them up against Baron Zemo (Daniel Bruhl, reprising his role from Captain America: Civil War) and reunites them with Sharon Carter (Emily Van Camp, back from Captain America: Winter Solder and Civil War). Wyatt Russell also stars as John Walker, aka US Agent.
