SDCC: Prime Video Orders Two More Seasons Of Hazbin Hotel, Renews Invincible
Hazbin Hotel will be continuing for at least another three seasons, with two new seasons officially announced at San Diego Comic-Con. Deadline reports that Prime Video announced additional seasons for several shows including a third and fourth season for Hazbin, a fourth season renewal for Invincible, and a season two renewal for The Sausage Party: Foodtopia.
Hazbin Hotel was a big hit for Prime Video when it debuted in January. The R-rated animated musical comedy is created by Vivienne Medrano and centers on Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, as she tries to find a way to allow condemned souls to be redeemed and find their way into Heaven. The show was the largest global debut for a new animated series on Prime Video with a second season having already been ordered.
Invincible has likewise been a hit for the service and earned its first Emmy nomination this year, with Sterling K. Brown getting a nod for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance. Created by Robert Kirkman and based on his Image Comic series, it follows a teenager whose father is the most powerful superhero on the planet and who develops his own powers.
