Steven Yeun Joins Thunderbolts MCU Film in ‘Key Role’

Steven Yeun is suiting up for villainous heroism, joining the cast of Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts in a “key role.” Deadline reports that the Minari and Nope star has signed into the film in a role that is not named, but described as significant to the film as well as potentially moving forward in MCU films.

Yuen joins a cast that includes Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier, David Harbour as Red Guardian, Julia Louis-Dreyfus as Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, Wyatt Russell as US Agent, Hannah John-Kamen as Ghost and Olga Kurylenko as Taskmaster. Ayo Edebiri is also playing an unnamed role in the film, which is being directed by Jake Schreier and will release on July 26th, 2024.

The film will focus on the Thunderbolts, a group of villains who are sent out on missions commissioned by the government.
