A Family’s Neighborhood Seemingly Gets Transported to Prehistoric Times in Teaser Trailer for The End of Oak Street

Producer and filmmaker J.J. Abrams presents a new vision from David Robert Mitchell, the writer/director behind It Follows, in the new movie The End of Oak Street. You can check out the movie’s newly revealed teaser trailer from Warner Bros. Pictures below.
In the upcoming movie, a cosmic event rips Oak Street from suburbia, transporting a family neighborhood to someplace unknown. The Platt family soon discovers that their survival depends on them sticking together as they navigate their new surroundings.
The movie stars Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor, Maisy Stella, and Christian Convery. It’s written and directed by David Robert Mitchell and produced by J.J. Abrams, Hannah Minghella, Jon Cohen, David Robert Mitchell, Matt Jackson, and Tommy Harper. It’s executive-produced by Chris Bender, Jake Weiner, Joanne Lee, and Leeann Stonebreaker.
Mitchell’s production team for the sci-fi feature includes director of photography Michael Gioulakis, production designer Maya Shimoguchi, editor John Axelrad, composer Michael Giacchino, and costume designer Erin Benach.
The End of Oak Street will be released only in theaters and IMAX by Warner Bros. Pictures on August 14. It will release internationally starting August 12.
