Sony Pictures debuted the official trailer today for Until Dawn, based on the hit video game. The new PlayStation Productions feature expands the world of the video game, featuring Peter Stormare, who reprises his role from the original game as Dr. Hill. You can check out the official trailer below.

Per PlayStation Production’s head Asad Qizilbash, the new film adaptation is set in the same world as the original 2015 video game. However, it will feature a new set of characters in a new story. Qizilbash also teased that the movie will connect to the game.

David Sandberg directs from a script by Blair Butler and Gary Dauberman. It stars Ella Rubin, Michael Cimino, Ji-young Yoo, Odessa A’zion, Maia Mitchell, Belmont Cameli, and Stormare, who reprises his role from the game as Dr. Alan J. Hill. Until Dawn hits theaters on April 25. Here’s the official synopsis:

“One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again – only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.”
