What If…? Series Trailer Teases Marvel Zombies, T’Challa As Star-Lord

Disney+ is unleashing a whole new world (lots of them, in fact) in August with Marvel’s What If…?, and the official trailer is online. Marvel Studios released the full trailer on Thursday for the animated series, which will venture into alternate universes of the MCU when it premieres on August 11th.

In the trailer, which you can see below, we get a host of different worlds including Peggy Carter as the super-soldier Captain Carter and T’Challa as Star-Lord, the latter working alongside Yondu in his story as he was picked up instead of Peter Quill. We also get a look at a world of Marvel Zombies, with Cap and Iron Man turned into the undead, and a world where Tony Stark was saved from his fateful terrorist attack by none other than Killmonger.

What If… ? features fan-favorite characters, including Peggy Carter, T’Challa, Doctor Strange, Killmonger, Thor and more. The new series, directed by Bryan Andrews with AC Bradley as head writer, features signature MCU action with a curious twist.
