411’s TNA Impact Report 3.15.07
-We get a video recap of Destination X.
-Jim Cornette is in the ring, with the 6-sides of steel up. The main event for Lockdown will be Team Christian vs. Team Angle in a 10-Man Lethal Lockdown Match. Two men start, every 2-minutes another man comes in until all 10-men are in the ring. Christian makes his way to the ring. Cornette then announces Kurt Angle. So, why isn’t Joe the captain of a team, since he was, you know, challenging for the title at Destination X? Anyway, Cornette then explains that they can build their teams from now to Lockdown. Cornette says choose quickly and wisely. Christian says he doesn’t like the sound of this and Cornette tells him to shut up. He doesn’t care if he doesn’t like it. It is fact, so get in gear and pick a team. Cornette says he can’t do anything to stop the match. Cornette says we have a wrestling program to get to and cuts off Christian.
-Tenay and West welcome us to the show now and hype Lockdown in St. Louis. They hype tonight’s card.
-AJ Styles w/Neck Brace, crutch and ankle air cast makes his way to the ring. AJ asks if this is what we wanted. Tell me Rhino, is this what you wanted? LOOK AT ME! His neck and back and ankle will never be the same he has been told and it is all due to Rhino. He wouldn’t want this to happen to Rhino. AJ has his cell phone and says he hasn’t had the heart to tell his wife he won’t be bringing home a paycheck and food for his kids. So RHINO will call her for him. This brings out Rhino. The cage is still up by the way. Rhino asks him if that is what he wants, and says maybe he already called her. Or should I beat you down one more time. He asks what is this all about and AJ backs off. He understands what Rhino was trying to do now. He wants it to be over now. Rhino asks the crowd if they want it to be over and they say no. AJ just wants it to be over. The whole thing with Christian he understands now and that Rhino wanted to help AJ. Please man, please. Rhino says it is over. They shake. Rhino says it is over again, walks away and then catches AJ trying to hit him with the crutch. LOW BLOW by AJ and he was FAKING~! HEEL! He beats the shit out of Rhino with the crutch as we head to a commercial.
-Back from commercial and AJ and Rhino are still brawling. Rhino fights back and tosses AJ repeatedly into the cage. Christian is out and has another crutch and beats down Rhino. They double team Rhino and here comes Angle and Joe! AJ bails and Christian is trapped. He throws the crutch and bails over the top of the cage.
-JB is with LAX and Alex Shelley, who is street geared out. He says they pointed the loaded gun at the messenger, and they failed. He is boys with LAX, and Konnan is awesome talking now. He says they put him in a wheel chair, but it is not permanent, like 3D’s stupidity. LAX is coming for them.
-Back from commercial and Nash is in the ring with Sonjay Dutt.
-Now back to JB and Sabin is playing video games. Sabin is trying to PWN N00BZ right now. Backlund is back there training. Backlund says he is being excluded. Backlund says he is raining the steps. He is being Bob Backlund. He blows up about playing video games while they should be training for battle. Sabin says he is angry too and goes back to the game.
-Nash is here and says he has new music for Lethal, which is a remix of Macho’s music. Lethal doesn’t look happy, but then plays it up as he makes his entrance. Nash is pleased.
Jerry Lynn vs. Kaz vs. Jay Lethal
Lynn and Jay shake and Kaz attacks Jay. Lynn rolls Kaz up for 2. Jay rolls Lynn up for 2. Dropkick to Kaz, and then a leg lariat to Lynn by Jay. Off the ropes and a baseball slide to Lynn. Springboard dropkick, but Kaz counters and gets 2 as Lynn breaks it up. Lynn suplex Kaz, countered and a reverse DDT gets 2 as Jay makes the save. Kick by Lynn, roll up by Kaz and then a northern lights on Jay as well and gets a double pin for 2. Hip toss, cartwheel dropkick follows by Jay on Kaz. Snap mare by Lynn, ducks a dropkick and gets a victory roll on Jay for 2. Cradle piledriver try, Kaz kicks Lynn and a back breaker/flatliner combo by Jay gets the pin on Kaz.
Winner: Jay Lethal @ 2:45 via pin
-Daniels is here with a bat and beats the hell out of all three men. Last Rites to Lynn and his creepy new music hits.
-JB is with Cage and AJ. Cage says that AJ Styles is the first member of Team Cage. AJ is a great athlete and will be a huge star now that he is on Team Cage. AJ says Cage promised him a title shot. Cage says he was supposed to keep that on the down low and he is insulted. But they will work that out after Lockdown. Cage says he has Angle beat already. Now they will go and get their third man.
-Back from commercial and LAX and Alex Shelley w/Konnan & Machete make their entrance.
LAX (Hernandez y Homicide) © and Alex Shelley w/Konnan & Machete vs. Team 3D (Ray, Devon and Runt) w/Johnny Rodz
So Runt is back and everything in both hunky and dory? Konnan is on commentary! HOORAY~!
Alex and Devon to kick things off. Alex backs off and tags in Hernandez. Lock up and a knee by Hernandez. Clubbing shots to the back, chop sand Devon fires back with some of his own. Thesz press by Devon and rights to Hernandez. Slam by Devon, elbow drop follows and then a tag to Ray. Double shoulder block to Hernandez. Off the ropes and a boot by Hernandez to the injured arm of Ray, clothesline and a cover for 2. Tag to Cide, up top…ax handle to the arm of Ray. Cide wraps the arm around the ropes and then pounds away on it. Cide goes old school but then drops the arm over the top rope. Cide continues to work the arm and then kicks away on it. Ray manages a side slam and cover for 2. Slam by Ray, tag to Runt and a double top rope foot stomp on Cide. Clothesline follows and a pin for 2. Drop toehold on Hernandez, but Alex pulls him to the floor and slams him to the railing as we head to commercial @ 3:55.
Back from commercial @ 7:35 with Hernandez tagging Cide in and beating down Runt. They beat the hell out of him during the commercial. Frog splash by Alex, splash by Hernandez onto Runt! Devon tags in, runs wild and takes Cide down. Neck breaker on Hernandez. Chokeslam on Cide. He grabs Alex and tosses him in the ring. Alex begs off, Ray levels him and Devon with a corner splash. Clothesline follows. Running powerslam on Alex, Hernandez in and slammed down and a cover for 2 as Cide makes the save. Everyone in now. Hernandez tosses Runt onto Rodz! Ray tosses Hernandez. Devon suplexes Alex in, ray slams him and they got for and get the WAZZUP head butt. GET THE TABLES! Rodz is up to help Devon, Ray beats down Alex in the ring. Machete distracts the ref and then Rodz and he face off. 3D sets up the table…3D through the table! Hernandez rolls up Devon as the ref gets back into the ring and that is all.
Winners: LAX and Shelley @ 11:35 via pin
-Konnan on the mic and says they beat then in every match they have. They have taken their manhood and dignity. Now they will take their legacy!
-Serotonin bitches to Raven. He says they will go on a journey and adventure into pain. It is not about winning and losing. He wants to inflict psychological damage to their opponents like when their parents beat them as children. The only way for them to understand is to be the parent themselves. He asks them to do something, and Kaz is chained up and Raven wants Martyr to hit him. He refuses and Raven beats him. He tells Havoc to hit him and he refuses. Raven beats him down. Raven says he will help us no matter if we want him to or not.
-Back from commercial and JB is in the men’s room. Eric Young is cleaning a dung filled toilet. Eric asks for help to get out of the contract. JB says he is fucked. He then asks who his friend is and Eric doesn’t say, but maybe he can help him. Maybe it is JJ! Roode is here and bitches that JB is there. Roode says if he wants to talk with Eric he has to talk to Roode first. Roode tells Eric no breaks and it will only get worse.
-Cage and AJ are in the ring. Cage says that he is the champion and he is about to get to his point. His 3rd member of his team is…Abyss! Funny fact, Abyss faced AJ and Cage at the previous two Lockdown PPV’s. Abyss makes his way to the ring and stands on the floor. Says to come on in, because they’re a family, just like he has wanted. He says to take his spot, behind the champ. This brings out Sting. He says the Abyss doesn’t want to be on a team because he is on his own team, he wants to be his own man. After Sunday he saw the light and is a new man. Sting says there is one more piece to his past, and he has to meet with that later on. Sting says Abyss has to grab his future and Cage say sit is a bunch of crap and Sting is only out to hurt him. Cornette is now out and says we need wrestling. Next week, AJ and Cage vs. Sting and Abyss. Sting doesn’t seem to thing that is that good an idea and says to do it now. Sting and Abyss hit the ring and whoop ass as the show closes.
