AEW Collision saw its ratings hold even with the previous episode, while the total audience was up. Saturday night’s taped episode drew a 0.05 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 248,000 viewers per Wrestlenomics. Those numbers are even with and up 5.5% from the September 16th episode’s 0.05 demo rating and 235,000 viewers. There was no Saturday episode on September 20th episode; that week’s Collision aired as part of the September to Remember three-hour episode.

Repeating this information from this week’s NXT ratings news:

There is an important caveat in here to be considered for all wrestling ratings going forward. As reported in early September, Nielsen has changed its ratings system to a “Big Data + Panel” method, which combines the ratings measurement company’s traditional home panel-based data with inputs from devices including cable set-top boxes, satellite receivers, and smart TVs. This means that there has been a divergence in some numbers based on which numbers are being used. The Big Data + Panel numbers, for example, had last week’s demo rating at a 0.12 while PWTorch had reported the number at a 0.17.

Wrestlenomics has noted that the new method has mostly resulted in lower viewership among wrestling shows and that telecasts with younger-skewing audiences are generally (but not always) seeing lower measurements under the new system. What this all means is that direct comparisons with previous numbers are messy at best, because it’s using a new system. This includes all ratings for shows airing on traditional TV going forward including WWE NXT and Smackdown, and AEW Dynamite & Collision. With all that in mind, take the below comparisons with a grain of salt.

The demo rating was down from the 0.07 from two weeks ago, while the audience was below that episode’s 300,000. As always, these numbers do not include the simulcast on Max.

Collision is averaging a 0.097 demo rating and 367,000 viewers in 2025 compared to a 0.121 and 399,000 for the same time period in 2024.
