Updated AEW Ticket Sales Numbers

While fans continue to discuss WWE raising ticket prices to a level casual fans can’t afford, AEW continues to sell pretty consistent advance numbers for non pay-per-views.
Per the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the May 27th Dynamite in Philadelphia has the best advance sales so far, of 2,339. Other upcoming weeks in the 2,000 range are the May 20th Dynamite in Portland, Maine, at 2,136, and the June 3rd Dynamite in Richmond, Virginia, at 2,322.
In the 1,000 range are the May 30th Collision in Collision in Huntsville, Alabama, at 1,283, and the June 6th Collision in Youngstown, Ohio, at 1,228. June 10th’s Dynamite in Cincinnati, Ohio, is a near sell-out at 1,220.
Looking further out, other dates in June and July still have room for more. June 11th’s Collision in Cincinnati, OH, is at 860. June 24th’s combined Dynamite & Collision in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, is at 1,058. The July 15th Dynamite in Boston is at 1,259, while the Collision show the next day in Boston is at 744. It’s interesting that audiences seem to be showing a preference for the Wednesday show, when Thursday nights tend to be more common nights out, with the weekend slightly closer.
These numbers are fairly typical for AEW; presuming that eventually the under 1,000 shows will pick up closer to the date, it doesn’t look like the economy is hurting their core audience too badly.
