AEW Star Luchasaurus Reportedly Dealing With A Shoulder Injury

AEW star Luchasaurus is reportedly dealing with a shoulder injury.

On tonight’s Dynamite: New Year’s Smash, Luchasaurus appeared with a giant wrap on his shoulder. The AEW star was attacked by Toa Liona during the National Championship match between Ricochet and Jack Perry and was sent backstage during the bout.

After Ricochet retained the title, thanks to an assist from Bishop Kaun, Toa Liona brought out Luchasaurus to the stage and unleashed a brutal attack on him. He repeatedly slammed a barricade on Jack Perry’s ally’s injured shoulder, and then Kaun delivered repeated chair shots on it. The security officials tried to come to his rescue, but The Demand took them out. The heels slammed one of them on the injured wrestler’s arm.

According to Fightful Select, Luchasaurus’ injury is indeed legitimate. However, whether he requires surgery or not has yet to be ascertained.
