Tony Khan on the Creation of AEW WrestleDream

“I was inspired by pro wrestling’s greatest dreamer, Antonio Inoki. One year after he passed, I founded the show, and it’s one of my favorite times of the year. It’s featured some of my favorite moments in AEW.”

This will be the fourth edition of AEW WrestleDream. Last year’s event took place at Chaifetz Arena in St. Louis, Missouri, on October 18. That show was headlined by an “I Quit” match between Jon Moxley and Darby Allin, with the latter emerging victorious, thanks to Sting’s interference.
