– Tony Khan reportedly suggested that ROH could be bringing a PPV to Detroit sometime in the future at last night’s AEW Collision taping. Last night’s Collision took place at the Masonic Temple Theater in Detroit, and the company held some ROH tapings afterward. According to PWInsider, Tony Khan came out after the matches and spoke with the crowd as he tends to do.
The site notes that while Khan did not promise a future AEW PPV in the city, he did hint at the notion that a ROH PPV could take place at some point. ROH has only held one PPV in the city before, ROH New Horizons back in July of 2008. The last ROH PPV was Supercard of Honor, which took place in May in Salisbury, Maryland. The next one is ROH Death Before Dishonor on August 21st from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
– PWInsider also notes that the newly-All Elite Motor City Machine Guns will be performing with their band GRPPLNG on August 22nd at Old Miami in Detroit. They add that a lot of talent in AEW is excited about the team arriving in AEW as they expect to have great matches with them in the future.
