Various News: AJ Styles Already Made History In 2018, Heath Slater Gets Locked In Airplane Bathroom

– SportsKeeda reports that AJ Styles has already made history on the first day of the year, as he’s now one of only six men to start and end a calendar year as WWE Champion. AJ Styles came into the year as champion before losing the belt to John Cena at the Royal Rumble. He would later win it back from Jinder Mahal and is still champion.
He joins a list that includes Bruno Sammartino (who did ten times in 1964, 1965, 1966, 1967, 1968, 1969, 1970, 1974, 1975 and 1976), Bob Backlund (four times), Hulk Hogan (three times), John Cena (in 2006) and CM Punk (in 2012).
– In a post on Instagram, Heath Slater revealed that he was recently locked inside of a airplane bathroom. He was on his way to Miami for tonight’s New Year’s Day episode of RAW. It seems he eventually got out and lived to tell the tale.
