Andrade El Idolo says he’s not feeling great since Grand Slam Mexico and will be out of action for a short time, which MJF of course took some delight in. The AEW National Champion found himself on the receiving end of an assault by MJF after winning a Casino Gauntlet Match qualifier at Grand Slam Mexico last Wednesday.
El Idolo posted to Twitter on Sunday to share a pic of himself being stitched up after Grand Slam Mexico. He noted that he hasn’t been feeling well by the show but still did a couple of shows for Maple Leaf Pro in Canada before getting checked out. He wrote:
“Hi everyone and especially Las Señoritas! I’ve just landed back in Miami, where I live, and I went straight to the DR. I hadn’t been feeling well since the Wednesday after the Grand Slam, but as a professional, I had two shows in Canada with MLP. I’ll keep you posted, but I have to be out of action for a few days or weeks. It’s nothing serious, Take care! but… I have one question?”
MJF replied, writing:
“HAHAHAHAHAHA
How you know?
OH I KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED!”
MJF is set to be part of his own Casino Gauntlet match qualifier on this week’s AEW Dynamite as he faces Nick Wayne and Mike Bailey.
