Becky Lynch To Defend Women’s Intercontinental Title Against Maxxine Dupri on 1/19 WWE RAW
Becky Lynch is gearing up for a title defense. She will defend the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Maxxine Dupri on the January 19 episode of WWE RAW.
The rematch comes just two weeks after Lynch captured the title on the January 5 RAW from Atlanta. In that bout, Lynch defeated Dupri to begin her second reign overall. The finish raised some eyebrows since Lynch secured the pin while holding the ropes, though she later claimed the win to be “fair and square.”
Dupri has steadily gained momentum during her first singles push. Once known primarily for her modeling background and managerial roles, she has taken a more competitive direction. The rivalry with Becky Lynch has been central to that evolution.
The match also strengthens an already loaded RAW card. The same night features CM Punk defending the World Heavyweight Championship against Finn Balor.
I DID WIN IT FAIR AND SQUARE!!! EXCELLENT OFFICIATING!!! https://t.co/esmaegGxAu
