In a recent interview with Michael Bisping, UFC’s Bo Nickal answered an inquiry about the potential to join WWE at some point in the future, just as Brock Lesnar has done (per Fightful). Nickal cited Lesnar’s success as an example of finding a path from UFC to WWE and allowed that he might try to follow the same course eventually. You can find a few highlights from Nickal and watch the full interview below.
On the idea of Lesnar as a template for a career path: “100%. Anybody that has achieved things that I want to achieve, I want to learn from them. Brock Lesnar was a NCAA Champion, he was a WWE superstar, he was a UFC Champion. I’ve accomplished one of those things, NCAA Champion, I want to be a UFC Champion, and maybe, eventually, crossover to WWE at some point. That could be something that’s fun.”
On the benefits of following the example of successful predecessors: “Guys like that, I’m always looking to learn from and see what their strengths are, what their weakness are, how they handle themselves in the media, how they handle themselves competing in the cage, and I’m very studious of things like that. There are a lot of wrestlers who have done great things, Brock is one of the biggest names in combat sports and there is a ton for me to learn from him.”
