Braun Strowman Shares Update From Hospital, Says He Underwent Surgery

As previously reported, former WWE Superstar and Universal Champion Braun Strowman was hospitalized due to an infection in his right knee. Strowman shared a new update earlier today on his Instagram, revealing that he had surgery to deal with the infection around the bursa in the patella of his knee.
Strowman notes in the video that his doctors removed the bursa from his knee and drained a lot of fluid, and they kept the wound open for now to continue training the fluid. He noted that he will still have at least one more day in the hospital before he can return home.
He also wrote in the caption, “Update on my leg. Again I cant express how much the prayers and love for some many around the old mean to me. Yall have helped get me through this. Still a ways to go but there everyday. Pain is finally starting to come down. Still got a lot of battle to go but I think we are over the hump and should get easier every hour.” Strowman added, “I love you all very very much.”
Strowman currently hosts the hit WWE Studios-produced travel series, Eerything on the Menu with Braun Strowman. The series was recently renewed for a second season earlier this month. Season 2 will feature 12 episodes and will debut on USA Network at a later date.
