Bully Ray Praises Swerve Strickland’s AEW Dynamite Work, Says He Needs TV Time Each Week

Bully Ray was impressed by Swerve Strickland’s work on this week’s AEW Dynamite and thinks that he should get time on AEW TV every week from here. Strickland had a promo duel with Hangman Page on this week’s show, and Bully praised Strickland’s performance on Busted Open Radio. You can check out some highlights below, per Wrestling Inc:

On Strickland’s segment with Page on Dynamite: “Venture to say that tonight was the best night in AEW for Swerve Strickland. I liked what I saw in the ring, his presence, the way he carries himself, the way he separates himself from everybody else in the ring — and commands the spotlight. Swerve makes the spotlight find him.”

On Strickland deserving more time on TV: “What happened to the Swerve-Keith Lee match? What happened to those two guys with tattoos that were with Swerve? Let’s get away from all of that. Give Swerve TV time every week. Let that whole Swerve swagger, demeanor, and heelish feel that he has really set in and resonate. Because I thought it worked tonight.”
