Cam Skattebo Reflects On WWE Raw Appearance While Dealing With Injury

Cam Skattebo made an appearance on WWE Raw last November while he was injured, and he recently looked back at the situation. As you may recall, the NFL player appeared on the November 17th, 2025 episode of Raw while he was out of action with an ankle injury. The matter caused some backlash among NFL fans and pundits, who expressed concern that by getting physical in the segment with The Judgment Day he risked further injury. Skattebo got up in the group’s face at ringside and it turned into a minor scuffle across the barricade.

Skattebo defended the appearance during an appearance on The Rich Eisen Show. He talked about his injury and how he knew it was not a situation that was going to get worse because of the appearance.

“I got some plates and screws in there,” Skattebo said (per Fightful). “At that point, it’s already screwed in and plates are on, so I felt like I was okay to do whatever I wanted to. It’s not like it was going to break.”

The NFL star continued, “I was behind the wall, having a good time with my boys, teammates were out there backing me. If something really broke down, I knew I had my boys behind me.”

Skattebo is expected be back in the New York Giants lineup when the 2026 season begins.
