CM Punk Has An Announcement About AEW World Title & His Career On Tonight’s Rampage

CM Punk is set to make an announcement about the AEW World Championship and his career on tonight’s episode of AEW Rampage. Punk posted to Twitter on Friday evening to reveal the news, writing:

“I’ll be on #AEWRampage live tonight with an important announcement in regards to the @aew world championship, and my career. Please tune in at 9pm CST/10pm EST.”

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful noted shortly after that he spoke to some people who said Punk was backstage on Wednesday talking about his foot being hurt. He made it very clear that he doesn’t know if this is the announcement or if it’s related, and that he hasn’t heard “if or how much time” Punk might miss.

Rampage airs tonight at 10 PM ET on TNT.
