Cody Rhodes Seeks Revenge Against John Cena in New Clash of Clans Event

Supercell announced a new WWE-themed event for Clash of Clans as part of a new collaboration. Former WWE Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes is on the search for John Cena in the new event, the Search for Cena.

In the new event, Cody Rhodes is joined by The Undertaker, IYO SKY, Gunther, and a whole host of other WWE Superstars in hopes of rallying their fans online to help Cody exact his revenge against Cena, as players will hunt for Cena’s in-game village and unlock exclusive rewards.

During the event, Clash of Clans players will have the opportunity to experience WWE superstars like Alexa Bliss, Jey Uso, and Kane as reimagined versions of characters within the world of Clash.

The Search for Cena runs from today through September 30. Cena’s loot-filled base is waiting for players to discover through the course of their daily raids. The more players raid, the higher the chance they have of locating Cena’s base, so they can earn a one-time-only Cody Rhodes statue for their village. However, they will only receive the statue if the raid is successful.

Speaking on the event via a press release, John Cena commented, “People think this started in the ring with Cody. It didn’t. It started when I out-raided him in the game, and he threw me off his team. Ten years later he still needs help. This time he’s asking millions of you to take on my base. That’s fine. As I have always said – if you want some, come get some.”

The event reimagines several WWE Superstars as Clash of Clans hero characters, including the return of Cody Rhodes as “Barbarian King.” Here’s the full list of characters:

* Cody Rhodes as “Barbarian King”
* Alexa Bliss as “Archer Queen”
* The Undertaker as “Grand Warden”
* IYO SKY as “Royal Champion”
* Jey Uso as “Minion Prince”
* Kane as “Dragon Duke”

The event will also have WWE-themed features, including temporary troops for a branded village theme that’s designed around WWE Money in the Bank, taking place in New Orleans on October 10th. WWE chests also hold a series of rewards, with returning favorites like Action Figure Equipment, plus Challenge Tickets and a guaranteed Cody Rhodes Skin.

Clash of Clans, featuring the Search for Cena event, is available now for iOS and Android.
