Deathmatch Set For NJPW Death Vegas Invitacional

NJPW holds their Death Vegas Invitacional over WrestleMania week, and a new match has been announced for the show. As announced at the start of the year, the company is co-presenting the show with El Desperado in Las Vegas on April 16th. New Japan announced on Sunday that the latest match will see Nick Gage and Matt Tremont in action in a three-way tag team deathmatch.
The duo will team up to face the teams of El Desperado & Jun Kasai and Rina Yamashita & Masashi Takeda on the show. NJPW’s announcement describes the bout as follows:
“After the announcement of US deathmatch legend Nick Gage for the event on April 16, there was no way that El Desperado and Jun Kasai were going to pass up the chance to battle him, and there were plenty more wanting to step up to join the mix. As a result, we have an invitation only ‘love and pieces’ three way Deathmatch tag, Gage teaming with Matt Tremont to face Desperado and Kasai and Masahi Takeda and Rina Yamashita. A true murderer’s row of hardcore figures, what fresh carnage will these six indiviudals bring to a bloody Strip?”
The show will take place at the Horseshoe Hotel in Las Vegas. The updated card is:
* Deathmatch: El Desperado & Jun Kasai vs. Nick Gage & Matt Tremont sv. Rina Yamashita & Masashi Takeda.
* Dragon Kid * Statlight Kid vs. El Phantasmo & Maki Itoh.
