Stephanie Vaquer has been off of TV for a few weeks, but she could be back quite soon according to a new report. As noted, the former Women’s World Champion was taken out by the Judgment Day on the April 27th episode of WWE Raw. She was described as having a second-degree AC shoulder sprain, and hasn’t been seen since.
According to PWInsider Elite (courtesy of F4W Online, Vaquer is expected to return to TV on next week’s show. The report notes that there have been creative discussions within WWE for her return.
Vaquer’s storyline injury was done to cover a legitimate injury. It had previously been reported that WWE was hopeful to get her back in time for SummerSlam and that the initial speculation had been that she could be out for six weeks or more.
Stephanie Vaquer lost the Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at WrestleMania 42. There’s no word as of yet on the creative plans for Vaquer upon her return. WWE Raw takes place next week at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina and airs live on Netflix. The announced card so far is:
* WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Brie Bella and Paige vs. Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez.
* Oba Femi Challenge: Oba Femi vs. TBA.
