Doug Malo Says He’s Been Told Syko Stu Is Done With In-Ring Work

Syko Stu is still in recovery following his assault at the hands of Raja Jackson, and Doug Malo says a friend has told him Stu won’t be returning to the ring. As you likely know, Jackson legitimately assaulted Stu at Knokx Pro Wrestling’s show in late August and put him in the hospital. Malo, who is the wrestler who pulled Jackson off of Stu, has been providing updates on the injured wrestler and he spoke with TMZ Sports for a new interview in which he said one of Stu’s close friends has said he’s not going to continue with in-ring work.

Jackson has pleaded not guilty on charges of felony battery that caused serious bodily injury and misdemeanor battery. You can see highlights from Malo’s comments about Stu below (h/t to Fightful):

On Stu’s wrestling future: “His close friend that I talked to that’s throwing this event said that Stu is done with in-ring work. I also know about some of the stuff that he was dealing with from when I talked to his wife last and his friends. I don’t think being in the ring would work ever again.”

On believing that this is for the best for Stu: “I don’t even think it would be smart at this point. That was a lot of damage he received, plus what he was already dealing with. He wasn’t necessarily a spring chicken before the event, I don’t know.”
