Eddie Kingston Reflects On How He’s Changed In AEW, Talking Trash About Zack Sabre Jr.

Eddie Kingston recently weighed in on what being part of AEW has done to him on a personal level, how the company’s changed, and why he talks trash about Zack Sabre Jr. Kingston appeared on Busted Open Radio for a new interview. During the conversation he was asked by Bully Ray how AEW has changed him on a “spiritual” level.

During the conversation, Kingston casually mentioned that “Zack Sabre Jr. is a bitch.” The trash talk was thrown out while talking about a promo he did calling out Sabre before he joined AEW. He explained the reason for the trash talk. You can see highlights below:

On What AEW Did For Him ‘Spiritually’:

“It just made me believe what people were telling me for all these years. Which was just stick with it, mature, you know what I mean? Mentally mature. And [it] also showed to me that everything happens for a reason. I mean, it proved that point for me. All the things I’ve went through, all the stupid mistakes I made, all the promoters I told to F off and all that stuff led me to be part of AEW. So it was all worth it.”

On How AEW Has Changed Since He Came On Board:

“No, it’s changed. It’s definitely changed. The roster’s changed, the office has changed, all that stuff. Is it changed for good or for bad? That’s not for me to say. Because I still get my check, so to me it’s good still.”

On Calling Zack Sabre Jr. a ‘Bitch’

“I wanna fight him. I’ve been dying to fight him, so the only way I can actually fight him is by talking enough s**t where somebody will book it. That’s really it. There’s no personal thing.

“There’s some things I see that he does. ’cause I don’t know him, I don’t talk to him. But there’s certain things I see that he does, and I’m like, ‘Oh, you’re a pompous little fuck. Oh okay, I would love to smack the s**t outta you.’ So that’s where that comes from. There’s nothing personal. I just see s**t that he does and I want to rock him a little bit.”
