Ethan Page Captures Intercontinental Championship On WWE Raw

We have a new WWE Intercontinental Champion, with Ethan Page capturing the title on tonight’s episode of WWE Raw. Page challenged Chad Gable for the title in the first match on Monday night’s show. The 18 minute-plus match was won by Page, giving him his first main roster championship.

The match saw the two go back and forth throughout, including Gable hitting an Olympic Slam on Page onto the commentary table before tossing him back in the ring for a moonsault. Page managed to survive though and took over for a bit before Gable came back with an an avalanche belly-to-belly suplex for a nearfall.

The finish of the bout came when Gable locked in the ankle lock, but Page kicked him back into a turnbuckle that had been exposed earlier. He then hit the Ego Check to get he pinfall and title.

You can see clips from the WWE Raw match below. Gable’s title reign ends at 92 days; he won it from Penta on night two of WWE SummerSlam.
