During a recent interview with WhatCulture, former WWE Superstar Fabian Aichner (formerly Giovanni Vinci) discussed the success of his former Imperium stablemate, Ludwig Kaiser, as El Grande Americano in AAA. Below are some highlights:
Fabian Aichner on Ludwig Kaiser
“There’s a bunch of those Grande Americanos I’ve noticed. So, we don’t really know who’s who, but let’s just assume one of them was him. No kudos to him, and we came up in NXT together. We were the only two German-speaking people there. So, we did everything together. I know the hardship that he went through because we went through it together in NXT, and I know all the sacrifices that went into that journey because you have to remember, like you’re moving halfway around the world. You’re leaving everything that you’ve known up until that point, including family. You leave everything behind in order to achieve that goal, to achieve that dream, to get to the main stage, and to realize that uh that that dream that you work so hard for.”
On Kaiser’s Mindset To Get Big Reactions
“He’s always had a great mindset for wrestling. He’s always known what was important, and if you look at the reactions that he’s getting now in Mexico, you don’t get those kind of reactions if you’re not doing something right. So, it’s good to see uh that that he’s doing great. I’m happy for him and uh yeah, pays off. Hard work pays off.”
Kaiser recently defeated Chad Gable in a Mask vs. Mask match at AAA Noche de Los Grandes on May 30. As a result of the loss, Gable was forced to unmask, and now Kaiser retains the mantle of El Grande Americano.
As previously reported, Fabian Aichner recently signed with TNA Wrestling, with the promotion announcing his signing.
