FloSports and WWN are reportedly headed toward a potential legal battle. According to PWInsider reports that according to severalk sources, the relationship between the two is “fraying” to the point that FloSports has filed a lawsuit against WWN, with a countersuit expected to come.

FloSports’s lawsuit against WWE was filed on September 15th in Travis County Court in Texas. The specific details of the lawsuit are not yet known. That said, according to the site’s sources there is just over a year left on their current agreement despite the October 2016 announcement saying it was a five-year agreement. There has apparently been a breakdown between the two sides.

The FloSlam pro wrestling service that FloSports runs launched in 2016 and relies on WWN – the parent company of EVOLVE, Style Battle, FIP, and SHINE – for the heavy majority of their content. FloSports pays WWN to produce a number of shows per month for the service, which costs $20 a month or $150 a year for consumers. The service includes live events and VOD programming. However, FloSlam has had several issues including a lack of support on several major devices and little to no marketing for the service. Several companies who joined the service such as House of Hardcore and wXw have since left.

At this point, despite the legal issues the two sides are still working together. This weekend’s WWN events are scheduled to air on FloSlam. WWE has Cedric Alexander appearing at the WWN events, but he will not be appearing on the FloSports-airing part. WWN has cultivated a relationship with WWE and if they get free of their situation with FloSports, it’s possible that they could join the WWE Network as part of their long-rumored premium-tiered plan.

Neither side has publicly commented on the issue at this time.
