During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed an injury to QT Marshall at last Sunday’s AEW Double or Nothing 2026. During the Buy in pre-show, QT Marshall teamed up with Big Boom AJ and The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Orange Cassidy & Roderick Strong) to beat Shane Taylor Promotions (Anthony Ogogo, Carlie Bravo, Lee Moriarty, Shane Taylor & Shawn Dean). However, it appears Marshall was hurt during the matchup.

According to Meltzer, Marshall’s injury was caused by a spot involving water during the match, and water was thrown onto the ring ropes, which caused Marshall to slip off. As reported by F4WOnline.com, after the slip, Marshall fell to the outside and grabbed his knee. He was later helped to the backstage area by several people, and he looked unable to put the weight on his knee.

Following Double or Nothing, Tony Khan said that Marshall was doing okay but offered no further details. Addressing Tony Khan’s post-show comments, Meltzer stated on WOR, “Sometimes I think when he says it’s not serious, I think it means–‘ Alvarez then interjected, “He doesn’t have to have his leg amputated?” Meltzer laughed, “Yeah, exactly!”

There are no other details yet regarding the nature or severity of QT Marshall’s injury.
