Keep Refreshing For The Latest Results

NXT Universe! We are back tonight with the latest edition the Tuesday Night Delight, and the show will not lack for any sort of drama.

After brawling and fighting all over the place for the past X amount of weeks, Ricky Saints will defend the NXT Men’s World Title against Trick Williams in a Last Man Standing Match. That, of course, is not the only match with either direct or indirect title implications, as El Grande Americano will defend the Men’s Speed Title against Jasper Troy. The Women’s Speed Title Tourney will continue, as Fallon Henley will face off with Skylar Raye, the winner of Season 2 of LFG. Tavion Heights will face Josh Briggs, Blake Monroe will be interviewed, The Culling will appear, and as I always say, so much more in store for us tonight!

So, how is everyone on this Tuesday Night? I’m not sure how exciting a 10-7 game in football can be, but damn if the Eagles didn’t try to make things WAY too exciting last night in Green Bay. Still, a 7-2 record, a share of the top spot in the NFC, and an adamant NFC East Title all sound pretty darn good to me. As for the Pacers and the Flyers, well…

But, enough about me, let’s get ready to throw it up for N-X-T!

NXT

Tonight, NXT is LIVE from the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida! Vic Joseph and The King, Booker T will call the action tonight. Or rather, Booker T will just act up, and Vic will fearlessly correct him lol.

THEN!

NOW!

FOREVER!

TOGETHER!

Intro video package to honor the men and women who serve in the Military for Veteran’s Day. Really nice.

Trick Williams is seen walking the streets. We see Ricky Saints arriving at the arena. Everyone is walking!

The Culling are here! Interesting that Mike Rome introduces only Tatum and not the entire group, but the group graphic is shown.

Shawn Spears gets a mic for Tatum and Izzi. TATUM TUESDAY chants. Paxley says you guys have no idea how much she loves hearing, “Tatum Paxley, NXT Women’s Champion!” She says she could hear it over and over, but if she wants to keep hearing it, she’ll have to listen to her friends. It got out of hand last week, they were fighting, then they were dancing. It’s all her fault that they lost last week. But Izzi forgave her because that is what best friends do!

Izzi says that is what the Culling want for her. They know how long she has worked to win the title. But if she wants to keep being our silly, dancing champion, you need to stop handing out title shots to everyone and use discretion.

Tatum says she will listen, but it was so fun spinning that wheel!

Izzi says you could put a fruit fly in front of these fans and they would cheer. When she fought for the people, she was left broken, before the Culling took her in.

Tatum says she can selective, but she wants to face every girl in the locker room.

Izzi says the reality is that not everyone deserves a shot at that title. Stop handing out free oppertunities, that is not what is best for you and that title.

Fatal Influence have arrived! Jacy says no one knows how Tatum feels, but she does. When the star tells you to sit down and shut up, you do it. Jayne reigns with a title or without a title. Tatum worked so hard to get her, and she wants to prove that beating Jayne at Halloween Havoc was no fluke. That’s why she wants to be a fighting champion. But we shouldn’t discredit Izzi, you shouldn’t be giving out opportunity after another. You should give a shot to someone who put the division on her back.

Izzi says wow, such big words for someone who lost the title to Tatum. Tell her she doesn’t deserve another shot. Right, Tatum?

Jacy says you can’t even win a title, so Jacy needs to make her own mind up. The best choice is to give her a rematch for the title.

Jacy says she has to be smarter and make the right choices. But after New York! Jacy, you will get your title match next week!

Some dudes from EVOLVE are in the back with Ava. They say she made the right decision to include Sean Legacy in the Gold Rush. Here comes Ethan Page, Chelsea Green, and Alba Fyre. Ava thinks that they should be worried about their mixed tag team match against Thea Hail and…

NO NO NO, we don’t say his name, says Green. Ava says that maybe she should step into the ring tonight. She objects, but Page says wait, what if Alba takes out Thea before Gold Rush? Chelsea and Alba seem to be in agreement over this.

We see Jasper Troy walking, and we see El Grande Americano emerge from his locker room! That match is next!

COMMERCIALS!

THANK YOU, CENA segment. Cena tells us that he wanted to be in the Army. He was 22, and 235 pounds. He talked about wrestling so much that someone told him that he should go ahead with it. He worked some dead-end jobs in order to get the chance to make it in this business.

We see events from two weeks ago, where Tavion Heights cost Josh Briggs his match against EGA. That match is still to come tonight.

The bastard child of The Missing Link and Byron Davis is here!

WWE Speed Men’s Title Match: El Grande Americano W/Los Grandes Americanos (C) vs. Jasper Troy

Booker T waxes crazy about Troy, but he can’t resist touching hands with Americano lol.

Five minutes on the clock, as Troy with shoulder blocks to the gut to open. Troy sends EGA across the ring as the fans chant OLE! Slam and a pin attempt from Troy, two count. EGA catches Troy running in with a high knee. Off the ropes, Troy catches him, EGA out the back door, EGA with a dropkick. Running PK from the champion gets him a two. Arm control from EGA, he looks to walk the ropes, but Troy pulls him back down to the mat. Troy with an Irish Whip and a shoulder tackle. Troy chokes the champion with his boot.

Three minutes left, as EGA fights back to his feet. Troy knocks the champ to his knees, hits a running boot, and a standing splash for a two. Troy lines up EGA, but he runs into a bicycle kick. EGA off the top with a blockbuster! Troy to the floor, EGA looks to fly, but Troy cuts him off with an anti-air. Troy goes for his chain, Los Grandes try to stop him, and the ref ejects them! THERE IS NO JUSTICE!

In the midst of that, EGA hits a flying tope! One minute left, and it looks like EGA put something in his singlet. Huh, I wonder what that is. Troy is returned to the ring. he tries to goozle the champion, but EGA with a running headbutt. He goes to load up the mask, but the item hits the mat, and the ref admonishes him. Troy with a running splash in the corner, followed by the Vortex from Troy, and we have a new champion!
WINNER: Jasper Troy
TIME: 4:42
THOUGHTS: Not going to lie, I am surprised El Grande dropped the belt here. But this is a great first title reign for a guy who shows promise and has some kind of character going on. And honestly, doesn’t it feel like Americano is above that title, anyway?
RATING: ***

Thea Hail in the back. She wonders where Joe Hendry is. That’s his cue to appear to her left. All you have to do is say his name. She wants to thank him for last week, but he says no, he has to thank her because the way she came out of that cake and pied Chelsea. HAIL YEAH! Thea says she is going to take it to a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion tonight. These people believe in Joe Hendry, these people believe in Thea Hail!

COMMERCIALS!

Another EVOLVE guy is in the back with Ava. He wants to thank her for the opportunity to win the EVOVLE title back. Sol Ruca and Zaria are here. The guy wants to congratulate Sol on the recovery and he leaves. Ava says she read the report that she is cleared. Zaria says she sees her and Sol walking out as Women’s tag team champions, but Ruca wants Blake Monroe next week.

Believe in Thea Hail! Believe!

Thea Hail vs. Alba Fyre

The bell rings, as Alba apparently wrestles in her secret HERvice gear, which is a nice touch. Alba takes it to Thea early on, as she beats her up from corner to corner, and wrenches her arm out. Thea with a roll-up out of the corner for two. Thea misses a kick and gets rolled up for a two. Alba taunts Thea, and she gets a Thesz Press for her troubles. Hail grabs arm control of Fyre. Tilt-a-World is countered by Hail, who dropkicks Fyre out of the ring.

Thea to the apron, bottom drop to Fyre! Alba is returned to the ring, as Green gets in Hail’s face. Chelsea goes to strike her, but Thea catches her arm. But before she can do anything, Fure flies out with a Tope to knock down Hail. PIP time!

Hail fights out of a headlock and is slugging it out with Fyre as we return from break. Hail seems to be getting the better of it, but Fyre with a forearm. Hail with a forearm and kick to the gut. Hail counters out and hits clothesline galore. Hail with the Strongest Slam, Hail rolls through, but her back splash misses. Crucifix pin by Fyre for a two. Kimora from Hail, but Fyre fights out and scores a two on a Tornado DDT.

Hail counters with a roll-up for a two count. Hail with the Michinoku Driver! She did the deal, but it doesn’t finish the match. Hail to the top rope, but here comes Green. Hail avoids Fyre and locks on the Kimora! Page on the apron! Hendry pulls him down to the floor! Chelsea goes to strike Hendry, but she strikes Page! Hail with a suicide dive to Green! Back in the ring, Thea with the Destroyer and the win!
WINNER: Thea Hail
TIME: 9:50
THOUGHTS: Always nice to be reminded that Alba Fyre can still wrestle, and this was a good match. Clearly, Hail was winning, since they have the AAA Mixed Tag Team Titles, but he got the win in an almost underdog, plucky kind of way.
RATING: ***1/4

Tatum Paxley ponders the World in the back. Ricky Saints is on the table getting taped up. He says she needs to be the champion that she wants to be and should do what she feels is right. The rest of the Culling are here. They say she should leave the Champion alone, considering what is coming his way tonight. One more thing, says Tatum, but she doesn’t get to say it as she is led away. Ricky says this is crazy, but he kind of likes it. LOL!

Blake Monroe will be GLAMEROUSLY interviewed, next!

COMMERCIALS!

Next week is the start of a two week stay in New York for Gold Rush!

It’s time for NXT Spotlight! Monroe was so excited when you got her message and look what she got here. Don’t kiss her ass, darling! Hey, it’s another Blake Monroe! Amazing! The light will never burn out, because she is going to keep this title forever. That title isn’t hers until she defeats Sol Ruca for it. The real Blake losses her mind a bit, but she says she is cleaned and polished. The other Monroe says there is nothing clean about her, she sees how she acts and how she won that title. You can win this with her help, that is the type of champion that you need to be. Monroe says she doesn’t need her, but she objects to that. Monroe says what if she entertains this thought, and the other Monroe says they need each other, the Woman from hell needs to be remembered. Spotlight needs Darkness, and together, they make one perfect champion.

Love it!

Je’Von Evans is in the back. He gets a call from Leon Slater. he has a special announcement tonight that you can’t miss, YA HEARD?

COMMERCIALS…AGAIN!

Jordynne Grace is in the back with Sarah Schreiber. She wants to know what Grace thinks about what Kelani Jordan said last week. Grace says she isn’t original, and she’s heard her excuses before. What matters is what Santino said about the Knockouts Triple Threat. Grace is a TNA original, and she won the title three times, while Jordan was still flipping around at Michigan State. As for Lei Ying Lee, she is sorry, but she will be collateral damage. Grace is winning that title for a fourth time.

YA HEARD? Je’Von Evans is nervous, not just because he’s going against GUNTHER in the first round of the John Cena tournament, that’s crazy, but he’s wrestling in Madison Square Garden at the age of 21. But that’s next Monday, let’s talk about next Tuesday. He had a big announcement with Leon Slater, but he can’t be here in person. So, Miss Amy, can you get Leon on the screen.

Leon is on the screen! He has been talking to Ava, and Leon has been talking to Santino, and next week at Gold Rush, they are coming for Dark State and the NXT Tag Team Titles! They are the youngest, they are the best, and next week.

But the lights go out, and Dark State are here. Looks like they have their next two victims in here, huh? You act like you are the future of this business, but they are ending their future next week. Ava and Santino have all the control? That doesn’t mean anything unless Dark State is enforcing it. Leon isn’t here, so it looks like he is going to be doing Gold Rush all on his own.

Evans says you’re dumbasses, and the man who isn’t here is actually here, as Slater hits the ring! Slater and Evans proceed to beat up four RETRIBUTION cosplayers. Which means there will be no title change next week lol.

Trick Williams is in the back getting ready for his match. Knockouts Champion Kelani Jordan is here. She is sorry for what she said last week. She thought about what he said, and he is right. It will be lonely at the top. She is picking him to win tonight.

Williams says you have to be selfish; you have to do things for yourself. You got that Triple Threat match on lock.

The Women’s Speed Tourney match is next!

MORE COMMERCIALS!

Another Cena segment. THE segment, as a matter of fact when, in June of 2002, a rookie John Cena stepped up to Kurt Angle. He had RUTHLESS AGGRESSION! We get comments from Angle himself, along with Dave Bautista, Cody Rhodes, and The Undertaker.

WWE Speed Women’s Title Tourney: Fallon Henley vs. Skylar Raye

The bell rings, as Henley takes her time and eats a dropkick for it. Raye with a roll-up for a two count. She avoids Henley’s attack and hits a backslide for a two. A roll-up from Fallon for a two. Crucifix for a two count from Raye. Raye out the back door, but a take down by Fallon. Submission attempt, but that leads into counter roll-ups. Raye snaps off a Rana and hits a corner charge. Henley whips Raye, but Ray counters it with a high crossbody for a two count. Counter DDT by Raye for another two. Raye jumps into the arms of Henley, who drops her on the top rope. Henley with a flying back elbow. Henley with a Fameasser! The pin and the win.
WINNER: Fallon Henley
TIME: 2:12
THOUGHTS: Gutsy effort by the LFG Season 2 winner, but Henley was game, and her experience proved to win out here.
RATING: ***

Jasper Troy in the back. He talks about being the last man you think of when it comes to speed. His promo is interrupted, as Dark State emerge from the side and ramble on about Gold Rush next week and making sure that Evans and Slater don’t make it back from New York. Or something.

Josh Briggs makes his entrance for his match with Tavion Heights next!

COMMERCIALS, DEJA VU!

Fatal Attraction walk in the back. After next week, Fallon will be the Speed Women’s Champion, and Jacy will be NXT Women’s Champion again. That only leaves Lainey Reid, who knows what she has to do.

Josh Briggs vs. Tavion Heights

Briggs flattens Heights at the bell. He stomps on Heights under the bottom rope and stalks around the ring for a bit. Heights with a Fireman’s Carry and a hip toss. He grabs a waist lock and keeps Briggs down on the mat. Briggs tries to stand up, but Heights wrestles him back down to the mat. Briggs back to his feet again, he rips the hair of Heights to break the hold. Briggs sends off Heights, standing Bossman Slam for a two. Booker T losses his mind as Briggs tries another pin for a two.

Briggs puts Height’s arm on over his back and hits an elbow drop. The cover for a two. Briggs stalks Heights, but he Tavion with some body blows. he hits the ropes, but Briggs follows him in and collapses him into the ropes. Briggs points into the abyss, but he falls victim to a pickup from Heights. However, Briggs AGAIN escapes and hits a lariat to Tavion as we, as a collective, hit PIP Break.

Heights fights to his feet as we return from break. Big jumping shot from Heights floors Briggs, but Josh with a chop block. He hammers away with punches to Heights, cover for a two. Briggs paintbrushes Heights so much that Heights picks up Briggs. Overhead suplex from Heights. A trio of clotheslines follow. Heights off the ropes, but Briggs with one big boot, then a second one. His third one misses as he catches his ding-ding on the top rope. Belly-to-Belly suplex from Heights for the win!
WINNER: Tavion Heights
TIME: 9:20
THOUGHTS: I mean, I’m glad Tavion won this match. And I think that’s it lol.
RATING: **1/4

Ava and Myle Bourne are in the back. Ava says she doesn’t want Myles to interfere in the main event tonight. Myles says that Trick hit him in the back of the head, and a receipt is coming. Wren Sinclair and Kendal Grey are here. Ava looks off into the distance while they talk some things out. Lainey Reid is here. She wants to tell Grey something, and she does it with hand to face! A brawl breaks out, as security is here to break it up. BOO THEM, BOO THESE PEOPLE!

Vic runs down the card for week one of Gold Rush next week.

It’s time for Booker T to pantomime to Trick’s entrance theme!

COMMERCIALS, THY NAME IS HINDERENCE!

Vic runs down matches that have been confirmed for Night Two of Gold Rush.

NXT Men’s World Title Last Man Standing Match: Ricky Saints (C) vs. Trick Williams

Swing and a miss by Trick with the kendo stick as the bell rings. Saints peppers Williams with punches and goes to the corner. Willims and Saints fight over the kendo stick, as Ricky rips it away from Trick and smacks him a couple of times with it. Both men to the floor, as they go under the ring and grab chairs. Chairs collide on the outside, as Saints throws Williams into the ring steps. Williams is returned to the ring, Saints with a springboard, but he jumps right into a trash can. Williams with more shots to the ribs of Saints, followed by a flapjack into the can. Williams tells the ref to count it.

Saints gets to his feet at the count of seven. Williams is waiting with a running big boot. The ref counts again, but Trick picks him up and beats him around the ring. Trick ties up Ricky in the ropes and grabs the kendo stick. One shot to the ribs. A second shot to the ribs, shattering the stick. A third shot finishes the stick, as it goes bye-bye. The ref counts again, as Williams get to his feet with help from the ropes.

Trick is waiting with a chair, as he clobbers Saints in the back with it. He whacks Ricky with it twice more as the ref counts. Trick sets up another chair in the ring; he goes to the outside and grabs a trash can lid. Saints makes it up at the count of nine. Ricky fights off Trick, grabs the lid, and smacks Williams in the head and the back with it. This has been so gosh darn violent that we need a PIP Break!

The brawl has continued during the break and continues as we return from break proper. Willliams eyes up Saints, but Ricky moves, and Trick ends up eating the barricade wall instead! The censor has shut down the sound, I wonder why lol. Ricky grabs a chair and heads into the ring, as Williams struggles to his feet. Starks drops the chair for a new kendo stick, as he hammers Trick like Shohei Ohtani hammers a baseball. Trick begs off, but Ricky breaks the kendo stick and goes for the chair, of which Ricky beats him like every team beats the Tennessee Titans. The count begins, as Trick just makes it up at nine. Saints off the ropes with the SPEAR! The count on Williams starts up again.

Williams up again at nine, Saints looking for Ro Shambu, but Williams sneaks out the back and shoves Saints into the propped chair in the corner. Ricky hits the floor, as he crawls around, trying to get to his feet. Williams to the outside, he smashes Ricky with the ring steps. Trick tells the ref to count it, so he does lol. Ricky gets back up, but Williams runs by with a big knee strike. The count starts again, but Trick breaks it and gives Ricky a Book End on top of the ring steps. Trick sets the ring steps over top of Ricky and poses on them as the ref counts.

Apparently, Trick didn’t realize that Ricky made his way out from under the steps, as he shoves Trick off the steps and to the floor. Ricky has a chain around his neck, he goes for another SPEAR, but Williams throws Ricky through the NXT wall at ringside! The censors are doing their gosh darn censoring again! The ref counts, and Ricky emerges from the darkness and attacks Trick! They fight into the crowd behind Vic and Booker. Trick Shot from Williams! He poses on the rail, and he is busted open. SPEAR BY SAINTS, AS HE SENDS WILLIAMS THROUGH THE ANNOUNCE TABLE! Both men are counted, Saints makes it to his feet, but Williams cannot!
WINNER: Ricky Saints (Still Champion)
TIME: 15:30
THOUGHTS: A very fun brawl, and a great main event. If this is, indeed, the end of Trick’s time in NXT and he is going up to WWE soon, it was an amazing run. But Ricky has taken the torch, and he will run with it into the days, weeks, and months ahead for NXT.
RATING: ***3/4

Oba Femi is back after the match, but we are out of time, and with that, we are done!
