According to Kelly Kincaid, WWE didn’t give her the option to renew her deal. As previously reported, WWE NXT backstage interviewer Kelly Kincaid announced that she’ll be departing from WWE next week.
She revealed yesterday, “As of February 14th, I will no longer be under contract with WWE.” Later on, a user on X asked Kincaid if she didn’t want to renew her deal. The fan wrote, “I wish you all the best, Kelly. Did you not want to renew?” Kincaid later responded via her own X account. She wrote, “I wasn’t given the option.” You can view that exchange below.
As noted, Kincaid announced that her WWE contract is set to expire a week from today. Kincaid has been with WWE since February 2022, starting as an interviewer for NXT Level Up. Beforehand, she also worked on the independent scene as an announcer and competitor in ROH under the ring name of Quinn McKay.
Kincaid is also the partner of Pretty Deadly’s Elton Prince, who is currently sidelined with a neck injury and recovering from neck fusion surgery. The couple welcomed their first child in September 2024.
I wasn’t given the option.
