Kyle Fletcher Shares Message Following Title Loss at AEW Full Gear

As previously reported, Mark Briscoe won a bloody, brutal No DQ Match at last night’s AEW Full Gear event, beating Kyle Fletcher to capture the AEW TNT Title. Fletcher has since shared a message on social media, commenting on his defeat.

Kyle Fletcher wrote, “Without struggle, there can’t be progress.” He also shared photos showing off his bloody, marked-up body from the violent contest. You can view his message and photos below.

Despite his crushing defeat, it doesn’t appear that Fletcher will spend a lot of time wallowing in his loss and feeling sorry for himself. It looks like he’s ready to embrace the struggle of his loss and use it to become even better.

The Protostar previously held the title for 114 days. He won the title on July 31 on AEW Collision, beating then-champion Dustin Rhodes in a Chicago Street Fight.

In the meantime, it looks like tensions are brewing in Fletcher’s stable, The Don Callis Family. Kazuchika Okada and Konosuke Takeshita saw their tag team unit break down last night when competing for the CMLL World Trios Titles.

Later during the show, after losing to Briscoe, Fletcher also expressed anger at Okada and Takeshita for not coming to his aid in the No DQ Match. Fletcher then confirmed that he’ll be competing in the Continental Classic Tournament along with Takeshita and Okada.
