Jon Moxley and Kyle O’Reilly already had a brutal No Holds Barred Match, but Mark Briscoe wasn’t going to let them show him up tonight. There were tables, ladders, chairs, barbed wire, screwdrivers, thumbtacks, and more, but Mark Briscoe still managed to walk away with a win tonight and became the new TNT Champion.

The stakes were incredibly high here. If he lost, Briscoe would be forced to join The Don Callis Family. Ultimately, Briscoe picked up the victory after hitting Fletcher with a Razor’s Edge through a table covered in barbed wire. One Jay Driller later, and Briscoe scored the win and the title.

The title win is the first AEW title win of Mark Briscoe’s career. He ends Kyle Fletcher’s title run at 114 days. Fletcher won the title on July 31 on AEW Collision, beating Dustin Rhodes in a Chicago Street Fight.

Before becoming the TNT Champion, Mark Briscoe held the ROH World Title once. He was also ROH World Tag Team Champion with his late brother, Jay Briscoe, on 13 separate occasions. Jay Briscoe tragically passed away in January 2023 in a car accident.
