Liv Morgan On Why She Likes War Wounds, Recalls Getting Shoulder Popped Back In
Liv Morgan says she enjoys sporting war wounds from matches and recalled getting her shoulder popped back in place after it was dislocated. The former Women’s World Champion appeared on Hot Ones and during the interview, she was asked by Sean Evans about the etiquette around getting visible injuries and how to handle them. Morgan said that she sees it as an asset and something she’s proud of but noted that the hematoma she suffered from her collision with Roxanne Perez leading into WrestleMania wasn’t one she was happy about.
Morgan also recalled the dislocated shoulder she suffered in her match with Kairi Sane on the June 16th, 2025 episode of WWE Raw and how it felt to get it popped back in. You can see the highlights below:
On Getting War Wounds:
“I love it. I think it’s an asset. I am proud of them because I’m like, ‘This is literally what we’re putting our bodies through for your entertainment.’ But I also like the physicality of it, I kind of like the violence a little bit. A little bit of a masochist in that kind of way. And so I’m always like, ‘Yay!’
“But you know, the hematoma is the only injury I’ve had that I was like, ‘Mm, I’m not happy about this.'”
On Getting Her Shoulder Popped Back Into Her Socket:
“It feels great. Honestly, it feels great, it’s such a release. Because when it gets popped out of the socket, there’s such an immense pressure. And it hurts so bad that it doesn’t hurt, but there’s just so much pressure, and you don’t know what to do except try to hold it to relieve it.
“So when they pop it back in, you almost think you’re good as new. You’re like, ‘Oh, wow, I can go back out there.’ That’s typically not the case, but it’s just a huge relief. Huge, huge, huge relief. I hope you never have to do it, but it’s a huge relief.”
