Liv Morgan was offered a role in the Queen Of the Ring movie about Mildred Burke, according to a new report. Fightful Select reports that the WWE star was offered a spot in the film, which was released in March. The Ash Avildsen-directed film starred Emily Bett Rickards as the women’s wrestling legend.
The site reports that, much like Charlotte Flair, WWE kept Morgan from taking the role. It is not clear which role Morgan was offered or why WWE kept her from taking it. Flair had been cast as June Byers, but was pulled from the film by WWE. Kamille replaced her in the role.
Liv Morgan wrapped her role in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo in may. That film is directed by genre maestro Takashi Miike and is a spiritual continuation of the Bad Lieutenant “franchise.”
Morgan made her return from injury at Survivor Series: WarGames. She helped Dominik Mysterio regain the WWE Intercontinental Championship from John Cena at the PLE.
