Raquel Rodriguez remains the Women’s Intercontinental Champion after Lyra Valkyria attacked Sol Ruca on WWE Raw. Monday night’s episode saw Rodriguez put her title on the line against Ruca in the opening bout.
The match, which was a Ruca’s rematch after she lost the title to Rodriguez, saw Ruca come close to picking up the win on a couple of occasions as she and Rodriguez battled back and forth. Rodriguez’s allies Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez came down to help but Ruca took them out. Ruca was going for the Sol Snatcher when Morgan distracted the referee and Valkyria knocked Ruca off the ropes. Rodriguez then hit the Tejana Bomb to get the victory and retain the title.
You can see clips from the match below. Rodriguez’s title reign stands at 36 days, having defeated Ruca for the title on the July 27th episode of WWE Raw.
Get ready for chaos. 👊
