Mark Briscoe is a big fan of Kyle Fletcher and sees him as a breakout star whether he’s on AEW or ROH. Briscoe was on the Battleground Podcast recently and was asked who he sees as the future of Ring of Honor. He named Fletcher, acknowledging that Fletcher is more of an AEW guy than ROH at this point but recalled defending the ROH World Title against him.

“As far as breakout star in, I mean, in Ring of Honor, I mean, man, that’s a tough question because there’s so much young talent,” Briscoe said (per Fightful). “There’s so much, so much young, hungry talent. I’m trying to think here about guys who are exclusive and who haven’t really crossed over into AEW too much.”

He continued, “But I mean, like a guy a couple months ago I wrestled. I’d say he’s probably considered an AEW guy by now, but a guy that I wrestled for the title, for the Ring of Honor Title on HonorClub a couple months ago because he pinned me on Dynamite was Kyle Fletcher. Kyle Fletcher is 100% a blue chip, five-star prospect, and he’s just starting to really make waves and really just show what he can do. So, man, keep an eye on Fletcher for sure.”

Fletcher is part of Don Callis’ family and helped Konosuke Takeshita win the AEW International Championship at WrestleDream.
