Mark Henry Believes Jacob Fatu Could Eventually Replace Roman Reigns

Mark Henry believes Jacob Fatu has the means to become WWE’s top star one day. However, he still needs to gain experience before reaching that level.

Fatu and Reigns have shared the ring this year. The two faced each other twice with the World Heavyweight Championship at stake. Reigns won both matches.

Speaking to Casino.org, the WWE Hall of Famer compared Fatu with Roman Reigns and said the two are “equal” when it comes to physicality and toughness. He said Fatu is still dealing with “growing pains” and learning on the job in WWE. Once that experience comes, Henry believes Fatu “could definitely replace Roman” (via Fightful)

“On physicality and toughness, Roman Reigns and Jacob Fatu are equal, but the one thing that you can’t teach is experience. Jacob is going through the growing pains… Once he has that experience, then he could definitely replace Roman. I’m gonna make sure that I have a ticket for that one. I think Roman Reigns is safely a top 5 guy on the Mount Rushmore of wrestling…I think Roman is in the driver’s seat as the main star. He’s championship material.”

After Jacob Fatu lost to Roman Reigns in Tribal Combat at Clash in Italy, he was forced to rejoin The Bloodline. At SummerSlam, He and The Usos lost to Solo Sikoa, Royce Keys, and LA Knight on night 1. The loss made Reigns furious, prompting Fatu to attack Keys and put him out of action following their Street Fight match on Raw.
