On the latest episode of Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy, the TNA star talked about the reunion of Jack Perry and Luchasaurus as Jurassic Express, calling it a prime example of what makes professional wrestling special. You can check out some highlights below:

On the reunion: “I did see that clip, man. And I was thrilled that it got such a great reaction. Because you know, there was a time there were people like, ‘Oh my god, Jungle Boy sucks.’ I love the fact that they did this when they did it, and they both had time away. And there was a sufficient amount of time away, and then they were back together. It just really showed how fond people were with them together. The moment, their timing was really good, the way that was done. The Bucks are the perfect foil to put in there too.

“They do the thing, Jack Perry sitting there like a little psycho. And then, the deal happens, boom. Luchasaurus behind, there’s the double choke slam, out. They get up, they look, they look, they look. And then finally, there’s the embrace. And the crowd goes nuts, they play the old music, and the whole crowd is doing [mimics the wave], that was awesome. I mean, that f**king moment, that is what pro wrestling is about. That is what the money is. It’s not a five-star man, that is the money. Now, what’s interesting is how they’ll follow up on this. So I hope you know, Tony Khan, TK, puts his thinking cap on and really follows up good with this. Because that return was done really well, and people were into him. And right now they’ve got a ton of momentum, and I hope they can follow through and continue to build momentum.”

On it being a new act again: “The one benefit I can say for having those guys off for so long is that they both feel very, very fresh. And hopefully they’re fresh, they’re babyfaces, and people love them all over again. And that’s just what you want, and hopefully, it is something that can help us solidify the babyface side as having some top-tier players.”
