Backstage Update on AEW Status of Scorpio Sky as Contract Nears Expiration

As previously reported, Scorpio Sky’s AEW contract is slated to expire at some point this month. A new report has now provided an update on his status with the company.

According to Fightful Select, as of All Out 2026, the AEW Original hadn’t inked a new deal with the Tony Khan-led promotion.

Scorpio Sky has been a part of All Elite Wrestling since its inception and is the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champion. He won the title alongside Frankie Kazarian in October 2019. The SkyFlight leader is also a two-time AEW TNT Champion.

Though he has been active in Ring of Honor, Scorpio Sky has been barely featured on AEW TV in recent years. His most recent match for the promotion was at Revolution 2026 Zero Hour, where the veteran participated in a 21-man Blackjack Battle Royal for the AEW National Championship

Sky competed at the most recent ROH TV taping, defeating Oro in singles competition.
