Mick Foley took to social media to stand With Jesse Ventura in his comments regarding the recent events in Minnesota. As noted, Ventura spoke in an interview about the recent turmoil in the state while the state is the focus of ICE raids, including the shooting death of Renee Good. Ventura was speaking about a confrontation at Roosevelt High School which led to federal agents tackling several people and deploying pepper spray.

Ventura was critical of the current administration and suggested he may run for governor again. Foley posted to his Instagram account to praise his fellow WWE Hall of Famer for his comments, including standing up to the Trump administration.

Foley wrote:

“I STAND WITH JESSE. Proud to see the great Jesse Ventura speaking out in Minnesota. I agree wholeheartedly with ‘The Body’ here, and I don’t know if anyone could have said it better. We can’t keep letting Trump and his gutless yes men lie to us over and over.

“America needs to be better than this we have to move on from this era of domestic and international cruelty. I would encourage everyone to be like the former Governor here, and use your freedom of speech to stand against injustice.”

Foley announced in December that he was parting ways with WWE over their relationship with Donald Trump.
