TNA World Champ Mike Santana Accepts Open Challenge From Sheldon Jean for MLP Reena Rumble

Newly crowned TNA World Champion Mike Santana is heading to Scott D’Amore’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling (MLP). In a newly released video, Mike Santana accepts an open challenge from Sheldon Jean to face him at the MLP Reena Rumble. You can view the announcement video below.

In the video, the TNA World Heavyweight Champion answers Jean’s challenge, sending the wrestler a message that he’s allowing him to get in the ring with “one of the greatest in the world.” Santana says in the clip, “Now Sheldon, this ain’t a knock. These are just facts. You know, and everybody knows, I’m addicted to greatness. I’ll see you at Reena Rumble. Let’s get it.”

Santana has been on a roll as of late. Earlier this month, at TNA Bound for Glory 2025, the 34-year-old wrestler defeated Trick Williams to win the TNA World Heavyweight Title, bringing the title back to the TNA brand. It marked the first major singles world title win of Santana’s career.

The event will mark Santana’s Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling debut. The MLP Reena Rumble, featuring Mike Santana vs. Sheldon Jean, takes place on Monday, October 27, at the NewAge Event Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
