TNA World Champion Mike Santana will defend his championship against Eddie Edwards at the upcoming Rebellion pay-per-view.

Earlier today, TNA Wrestling announced on social media that Edwards would invoke his Feast or Fired World Title shot against Santana at Rebellion.

The post stated:

“BREAKING: @TheEddieEdwards will invoke his Feast or Fired World Title shot briefcase to challenge @Santana_Proud for the TNA World Title at #TNARebellion on April 11 LIVE on PPV and TNA+ from Cleveland, Ohio!”

Edwards brawled with Santana at last Friday’s Sacrifice event after the TNA World Championship match between him and Steve Maclin was abruptly called off due to Maclin being knocked out by a Superkick from the defending champ.

The brawl was unplanned, and TNA has since rewarded Eddie Edwards with the All Star Award for coming up with the idea on the fly. He will now look to capture the World Championship from Santana next month.

The 8th annual TNA Rebellion event will emanate from the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, April 11.

Below is the updated lineup:

* Trey Miguel (c) vs. Mustafa Ali for the TNA International Championship
* Leon Slater (c) vs. Cedric Alexander for the TNA X-Division Title
* The Hardys (c) vs. The System for the TNA World Tag Team Championship
* Frankie Kazarian vs. Elijah
* The Elegance Brand (Ash by Elegance, Heather by Elegance & M by Elegance) vs. Mickie James, ODB & Taryn Terrell in a Six-Woman Hardcore Country Tag Team Match
* Mike Santana (c) vs. Eddie Edwards for the TNA World Title (This will be Edwards’ Feast or Fired World Title cash-in)

411Mania, as usual, will have live coverage of the event.
